Refund Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to Bootstrap (the "Service"), operated by Pokidov Dmitrii, Empresário em Nome Individual, NIF 317488260, Lisbon, Portugal. All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited, and refunds are issued by Paddle on our behalf.

Short version: Bootstrap is intended for professional use by app developers and growth teams. We offer a refund of your most recent payment within 7 days of the charge, but only if you have not used any paid features yet (no keyword research runs, no AI screenshot generations). This protects against accidental purchases. Once you start using the Service, payment is final for that billing period.

1. 7-day "unused payment" refund window

You may request a full refund of your most recent payment within 7 calendar days of the charge, subject to all of the following conditions:

If all conditions are met, the request is auto-approved and the refund is issued by Paddle within 5–10 business days. If any condition fails, the request is rejected with a clear reason — for example, "you have already run 2 keyword research this period" — and the payment becomes non-refundable for that period (subject to the exceptions in Section 3).

2. Why this policy

Each keyword research run and AI screenshot generation invokes paid third-party AI APIs (Anthropic Claude) and consumes real compute time on our side. Because those costs are incurred at the moment of use and cannot be reversed, we cannot offer refunds for billing periods in which features have been consumed. The 7-day "unused payment" window exists specifically to cover scenarios where a user purchased the wrong plan or changed their mind before trying the Service.

3. Mandatory refunds (independent of the 7-day window)

Regardless of usage or how much time has passed, we will always issue a refund in the following cases:

4. EU/UK consumer withdrawal right

If you are a consumer based in the EU, EEA or UK, applicable law (notably EU Directive 2011/83/EU) grants you a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, by clicking "Confirm and pay" at checkout you expressly consent to immediate access to the Service and acknowledge that, under Article 16(m) of the Directive, the right of withdrawal is lost as soon as the supply of digital content/service has begun with your prior express consent. In practice this means: as soon as you run any paid feature (keyword research or AI screenshot), the statutory withdrawal right no longer applies to that billing period. Our 7-day "unused payment" window described in Section 1 is a voluntary commitment that operates as long as performance has not begun.

5. Cancellation is not a refund

Canceling your subscription stops future renewals — it does not refund the current billing period. You will keep access to paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. To cancel, open your Account page and use the cancel option in the Subscription card.

6. Plan downgrades

You may downgrade to a lower-priced plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for the difference within an active period.

7. Free tier

The free tier carries no charge and is therefore not subject to refunds. You can stop using it at any time without notice.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most issues can be resolved directly and faster. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in suspension of your account pending resolution. Repeated unjustified chargebacks may result in permanent account closure.

9. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method by Paddle, typically within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider. We do not retain card data and cannot refund to a different method.
